If you’re in (or near) the Boston area and have any interest in comics, come visit the 2024 Boston Kids Comics Fest on Saturday June 8! The event is free and filled with all sorts of comics creativity; you will be amazed!
I’ll be seated at Table 23 with copies of my new graphic novel ULTRASTELLAR, BOOK 1: ESCAPE. It’s the first installment of my new kid-friendly comic series, a coming-of-age / portal-fantasy tale full of hardships, heartache, humor and weirdness! Come see the story that defies my abilities to succinctly describe it!
The Boston Kids Comics Fest (or BKCFest, as they call it) is on Saturday June 8, 2024 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Northeastern University’s Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex at 805 Columbus Ave, Boston, MA 02120. They say that the welcome table is by the main entrance on Columbus Ave.
Here’s the official convention site link, and this is how they describe the event:
“…a daylong festival that invites children, parents/guardians, educators and librarians to discover and explore ‘kid friendly-comics’, graphic novels and hybrid books.”
There are workshops and panels throughout the entire day, quiet spaces to curl up and read, and once again — this event is free. Come check it out!
